Your credit card details are not seen, recorded or stored by us. Payment takes place on the infrastructure of the licensed payment institution.
3. Purposes of processing
- Receiving, preparing, shipping and delivering the order
- Issuing invoices and fulfilling legal retention obligations
- Carrying out return, withdrawal and warranty processes
- Handling customer requests and complaints
- Operating the store, ensuring its security and preventing fraud
- Sending commercial electronic messages if you give explicit consent
4. Legal grounds
Your personal data is processed under KVKK Article 5, on the following legal grounds:
- Establishment and performance of a contract (Art. 5/2-c): order, payment, delivery and return transactions.
- Legal obligation (Art. 5/2-ç): retention of invoices and records under tax and commercial legislation.
- Legitimate interest (Art. 5/2-f): store security, fraud prevention, service improvement.
- Explicit consent (Art. 5/1): marketing messages and non-essential cookies.
5. Transfers
Your data may be transferred to the following parties, limited to the purposes above: shipping and logistics companies (for delivery), payment institutions and banks (for collecting payment), our e-commerce infrastructure provider Shopify Inc. (for operating the store), our accounting and legal advisers and, upon request, competent public authorities and institutions.
Because our e-commerce infrastructure is provided by Shopify Inc., your personal data may be hosted on servers abroad. This transfer is carried out under KVKK Article 9.
6. Retention period
Order and invoice records are retained for 10 years as required by tax legislation. Membership data is kept for as long as your membership continues and, after it ends, for the duration of the statutory limitation periods. Data processed on the basis of marketing consent is deleted when you withdraw your consent. When the period expires, data is deleted, destroyed or anonymized.
7. Your rights
Under KVKK Article 11, by applying to the data controller you have the following rights:
- To learn whether your personal data is processed and, if it has been processed, to request information
- To learn the purpose of processing and whether it is used in accordance with that purpose
- To know the third parties to whom it is transferred, at home or abroad
- To request correction if it is incomplete or inaccurately processed
- To request its deletion or destruction within the framework of the conditions provided by the Law
- To request that correction, deletion and destruction operations be notified to the third parties to whom the data has been transferred
- To object to the emergence of a result against you through analysis exclusively by automated systems
- To claim compensation for damage if you suffer loss due to unlawful processing
Pursuant to the Communiqué on the Procedures and Principles of Application to the Data Controller, you may submit your applications in writing to Damlar Mah. Kocaorman Cad. Pekdemir Bahçeada Evleri No: 45, Başiskele / Kocaeli, Türkiye; to the registered electronic mail address akalburgers.gida@hs01.kep.tr, with a secure electronic signature or mobile signature; or to meshstickonline@gmail.com from the e-mail address registered in our system. Your requests are concluded free of charge, depending on their nature, as soon as possible and within 30 days at the latest. If the process requires a separate cost, a fee may be charged according to the tariff set by the Board.
